SmartHome Monday featured some of the smartest new concepts in kitchen design at this year’s Electrolux Lab Design event. Of the more notable is the Nutrima Kitchen Scale, which calculates the nutritional value, possible toxins, freshness of food and ingredients placed atop its surface.
Also worth checking out is the Kitchen Hub, a wall clock-sized device that helps you eat healthily by keeping a “watchful” eye on the food quantities and expiration dates in your kitchen. From there it recommends dishes based on ingredients already in your kitchen, and reminds you which items in your kitchen are spoiling soon.
Check out Nike’s new and improved FuelBand SE, with more colors to choose from. No Android support yet, this is an iPhone exclusive update. This week’s round up of self-quantifed gadgets also feature the Fitbit Force, which now allows you to see time and have a built-in altimeter so you’ll know how many floors you have climbed, and lastly we took a look at the recently launched BabyWatch heart monitor, bringing the perks of the doctor’s office to your smartphone.
