Google to bring voice activated Wallet integration into Google Glass

google-glass-filtered-wind-b-wGoogle Glass users will use soon be able to use their voice to send money to friends with Google Wallet.

Sources inside Google, according to TechCrunch, say several tests have been run with satisfactory results and it looks like Google could launch this service to all users of Google Glass soon. The only requirement is to register via a Google account with a valid debit or credit card.

It seems that users must currently be enrolled in the network of Google to install the application, and it functions almost entirely with voice commands.

The interface is simple: just say, “OK Glass, send money” to start the process and then end it with a swipe across the touch sensor and viola.

Google has already launched a similar function dedicated to Gmail so it isn’t a big stretch to see the search giant would transfer the functionality to Glass. The possibilities of use are virtually identical: for example, its time to pay for dinner, paying for the meal could be as simple as ordering Glass to make the payment. It is not yet clear whether the other person will have to wear the Glass to receive payment or if it would be possible to send to a Google account.

The fees for the use of the Glass Wallet will be the same as the other services. This feature could be useful for many users, but Google has not yet provided any confirmation about it.

Integration of Glass in Google’s network

Google Glass, like all products of the company, is designed for interaction with as many applications and services from Google. For example, Gmail and Wallet users can send money via e-mail program via a “$” button as an attachment to a contact. The last update to Glass also included an SMS support for iPhone and a calendar package.
