For those who have been waiting for the official arrival of the Galaxy Note Edge since it was launched last month, the wait may be nearly over. According to supposedly leaked documents revealed by Windows Central, the Galaxy Note Edge could be available form T-Mobile starting November 14.

Also shown on the document is the HTC One (M8) for Windows, apparently launching November 9 on T-Mobile as well as both the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 scheduled for November 12.

At launch Samsung said that the Galaxy Note Edge would be available on most major carriers in the US, but since then very little has been said about prospective launch dates. Phone Arena reported earlier this month that two models of the Galaxy Note Edge had passed Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approval –one for T-Mobile and the other for AT&T. This hinted at an imminent release date for the handset.

While the Galaxy Note Edge is essentially the same device under the skin as the Galaxy Note 4, it features a beveled screen that functions autonomously of the main screen. The beveled part of the screen is able to show things such as the time, alarms or even news headlines while the main screen is switched off. When using apps the beveled sidebar adapts and changes depending on what you are doing. One handy use for this is when you are snapping a picture –the camera controls move onto the beveled portion, giving you more space on the main screen. This will also be handy when reading documents or viewing webpages.

As yet no pricing is available, but judging by the cost of other premium handsets as well as that of the Galaxy Note 4 ($299 with a two-year contract) it’s probably safe to speculate a similar cost for the Galaxy Note Edge.
