Avi Networks helping accelerate cloud adoption for all users | #AWSSummit
By eliminating the final obstacle customers face when moving to the cloud, Avi Networks, Inc. believes it is at the dawn of accelerated cloud adoption. Guru Chahal, VP Product of Avi Networks, was excited to be interviewed on theCUBE at AWS Summit 2015 by John Furrier, as he sought to enlighten enterprises and customers on the product his company developed.
The genesis of Avi Networks was based on the feedback from several customers for a number of years. Customers were asked how they were handling the three big trends: the adoption of cloud, the consumption of applications moving to mobile and the change in application architecture. Based on the impact, it sought to build a next-generation platform focused on delivering a dynamic application environment for users.
Taking the complexity out of the system
In real time, this application collects 500 data points from every area it serves, processes it and feeds it back into the system while scaling itself out when capacity is low. By taking the complexity out of the system, Avi has built an intelligent network that is aware of its consumption (whether it be Windows, iOS, Android, etc.) and the location of the application being used. Successfully connecting the two means the end user experience is continuously optimized.
Chahal encouraged users to have options regarding connectivity networks, as these networks are continuously evolving. The network impacts any application performance, and the best network is not only based on the services it provides but the end-user feedback. Companies like Amazon Web Services, Inc. that rely on customer feedback cannot afford for its application to lose even a second of performance. With this in mind, Avi has equipped its company with amazing experts. Around 60 percent of its workforce works continuously, focusing on innovation and solving problems while seeking to deliver a network that saves customers money and increases user experience.
The recipe of a winning enterprise
A winning enterprise doesn’t just invest in technology for the sake of technology, it seeks to invest in products that increase its web service and application delivery. Considering and appreciating the competition of super smart networking company like Cisco Systems, Inc., Avi seeks to move up the stack by improving its network, based on customers’ reviews, while deploying and using applications.
