If you are spineless, dump her with Binder

Do you want to avoid that awkward conversation? The tears and the questions that are bound to occur when you break up with someone? For all those people out there who are over their latest relationship and want to avoid an awkward moment, there is a solution for you in the form of a new app called Binder.

Upload your soon to be ex partner’s name, number and even a photo and with a simple swipe of the card you have created it will soon all be over. Binder will text and call them to break the sad news gently.

Well not so gently in fact with the option to personalize the voice message that they will receive. Examples include:

“Yeah you’re getting dumped. Your boyfriend, em, yeah. I mean, yeah, maybe you deserve more. Maybe you deserve that white picket fence.”

“Maybe you deserve twins. Boris and Doris.”

“You could live out your days happily without that horrible guy who’s dumping you using this app, using me as a vessel to break this to you quite gently.”

“You’re dumped. You’re dumped. You’re really really dumped. Bind some will say. Bind with Binder now at all good app stores. Bye!”

Behind this tongue-in-cheek app is Tennent’s Lager who created Binder as part of an online comedy sketch called Wellpark. Jordan McKenna, of Tennent’s Lager, said, “There are hundreds of sites that promise to make the dating game easy. They look after everything – except the splitting up part. We thought we’d poke some fun at that in our Wellpark series, and so far it’s gone down really well with those who’ve helped test it out. Hopefully, those who receive a Binder message will have a sense-of-humor about it too.”

The current range of messages is specifically crafted for (spineless) men doing the dumping. However, another version of the app called Bindim is currently being created especially for women.

If you want Binder, you can get it on iOS and Android; just make sure your significant other does not spot it before you have a chance to use it.
