Fallout 4 studio Bethesda will return to E3 with another big press event

Bethesda Game Studios made a big splash last year with its first ever E3 press conference where it announced the now incredibly successful Fallout 4, and now Bethesda has said that it will once again be holding a press event at E3 with more exciting announcements to come.

“Like last year’s inaugural BE3 Showcase, this year’s event isn’t just for media and industry insiders,” the studio said in a blog post. “After all, we’re not just celebrating our games, but also you – our fans. At BE3 2015 we had over a thousand fans in the audience, and this year we plan to have at least as many in attendance!”

Bethesda said that anyone over the age of 17 is welcome to register to attend the event, but since interest will obviously be high, not everyone who signs up will get the chance to go.

Still, if you are interested in going, you can register to attend on Bethesda’s website.

If you can’t make it out to Los Angeles, then don’t worry. Bethesda will also be livestreaming the event on both Twitch and YouTube.

What will they announce?

While Fallout 4 was certainly the headlining announcement at last year’s Bethesda E3 conference, there likely will not be anything quite so grand coming from Bethesda Game Studios this year.

However, there are a number of other studios under the umbrella of Bethesda Softworks LLC, the company’s game publishing arm, who may have announcements of their own at the event.

A couple of the more notable studios whose games are published by BethSoft include Dishonored developer Arkane Studios and Doom and Quake developer Id Software.

The next Doom will already be released by this year’s E3, and since the release date for Dishonored 2 has yet to be announced, that seems like one likely candidate for one of the reveals at Bethesda’s event.

There is also a strong chance that Bethesda could reveal more downloadable content for Fallout 4, as the last of the currently announced DLC will be released by May.
