How to activate the Mario Kart Rainbow Road easter egg on your Tesla
You can now drive your Tesla on Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road. A tweet from Tesla Motors, Inc. CEO Elon Musk on Monday shared instructions on how to activate what Musk Tesla is referring to as “psychedelic cowbell road.”
Activate the Mario Kart Rainbow Road easter egg on your Tesla
On a Tesla Model S or Model X, activate Autopilot mode 4x in rapid succession and the normal grey road surface under the car on the instrument panel will be replaced by Rainbow Road from Mario Kart — or “psychedelic cowbell road” as in Tesla-speak.
Activate autopilot 4X in quick succession for psychedelic cowbell road. And, yes, we are adding more cowbell soon.

Note: make sure you have the latest version of Tesla’s software installed.
