Conga e-document suite is customer-satisfaction king at Salesforce

Salesforce.com Inc.’s ecosystem is a bustling group of consulting partners, independent software vendors, and others bringing the future of work to enterprises. As these relationships evolve and scale over time, some companies take on new roles within the ecosytem. AppExtremes LLC (doing business as Conga) even has Salesforce reselling its electronic-document software to customers.

Simplus is a consulting partner to Salesforce, and keeps a keen eye on the most exciting new software offerings, said Ryan Westwood (pictured, right), co-founder and chief executive officer of Simplus. “We’ve really made our brand on being kind of ahead of the market and really seeing what’s happening and implementing the technologies that are at the cutting edge of the Salesforce ecosystem,” he said.

When the company spotted Conga, it quickly became eager to partner and go to market with it, Westwood explained.

The decision has turned out to be fruitful. “We’ve been named the fastest-growing ISV in the entire Salesforce ecosystem,” said Matt Schiltz (pictured, left), chief executive officer of Conga.

Westwood and Schiltz spoke with Jeff Frick (@JeffFrick), host of theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s mobile livestreaming studio, during the Conga Connect West event in San Francisco. They discussed the Salesforce ecosystem and how Conga came into being. (* Disclosure below.)

Conga’s beginnings

Schiltz was once the CEO of DocuSign Inc., where the concept for Conga took shape. Conga offers complete support through the entire life of a document.

“We built out the first digital document transformation suite in the industry,” Schiltz said. “So all the way from collaborating and creating documents to managing those documents and negotiating them to full contract life cycle management with electronic signing, a state-of-the-art orchestration layer to build those productively for customers with an AI platform — Conga AI — supporting the entire platform.”

Conga has been rated the top ISV for customer satisfaction in the whole Salesforce ecosystem, according to Schiltz.
