Auto-Owners Insurance embarks on digital transformation journey

Digital transformation is close to a necessity now, and navigating the process can be daunting without proper guidance.

EnChoice Inc., an IBM business partner, provides content management and helps organizations such as Auto-Owners Insurance Group develop digital strategies and transformative solutions. With the use of automation and the hybrid cloud, enChoice helped bring Auto-Owners to the front lines of the digital revolution more prepared than ever.

We assisted Auto-Owners recently in their digital transformations journey, and they were dealing with an antiquated product and wanted to get moving forward and provide a better customer satisfaction experience for their client’s agents,” said Michelle Christensen, (pictured, left), vice president of enterprise report management at enChoice.“We partnered with them and IBM, bringing them a Content Manager OnDemand solution, as well as Navigator and several other products within the IBM Digital Business Automation Portfolio.”

Christensen and Ryan Dennings (pictured, right), ECM solutions manager at Auto-Owners, spoke with Lisa Martin, host of theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, during IBM Think. They discussed enChoice’s relationship with IBM, using Cloud Paks, and how enChoice and IBM helped Auto-Owners transition into the digital landscape. (* Disclosure below.)

Preparing for a changing landscape

EnChoice is focused on helping its customers develop a digital strategy and consolidate data to be actionable and accessible at a moment’s notice.

“We’re helping organizations like Auto-Owners with their journey by first realizing their existing digital state, what challenges they might have, and what needs they might need,” Christensen said. “Then we break that down or we deconstruct those technical and processizations and reinvent their strategic offering with modern capabilities.”

Dennings expanded on how enChoice successfully brought Auto-Owners into the 21st century, improving its overall business process and how it captures and indexes content.

“We’ve been working with Michelle and the enChoice team on our migration to a content management on-demand platform, and that’s going to be transformative in terms of how we’re able to present content and documents and bills to our agents and customers, to be able to transform that content and show it in ways that are important for our customers to be able to engage with Auto-Owners in a digital era,” Dennings concluded.
