Miro introduces AI suite designed to optimize common and complex workflows

Online collaborative whiteboard startup Miro today announced the introduction of Miro AI, a suite of artificial intelligence-powered features designed to optimize common and complex workflows on the platform.

Available to all enterprise customers and users, Miro AI uses large language models and generative AI to streamline processes and workflows to expedite product and service delivery to the market. The release is being pitched as allowing users to tackle intricate workflows that are integral to distributed, cross-functional teams.

Mira AI includes the ability to run tasks ranging from customer research analysis, strategy workshops, technical diagramming and customer-centric product design. The service is optimized for these functions across the platform, ensuring accessibility and innovation for all team members.

The AI suite features include generating images from text, summarizing sticky notes, creating user stories and removing the background from images. Miro AI can also execute more complex tasks such as generating code from a selected widget or expanding a mind map with questions, ideas or topics based on keywords in the selected node.

The new service also includes a focus on security and privacy. The AI suite includes an admin control feature that ensures that all content remains protected when activated. User confidentiality is prioritized, customer-proprietary content is not used to train AI models and all prompts are purged immediately post-use.

It’s debuting with 12 AI features designed to generate, summarize and cluster ideas based on sentiment and keyword, automatically generate images based on text and visualize complexity using sequence diagrams. The AI suite is also available in English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese, allowing for broader user interaction.

“Miro AI plays a key part in helping teams accelerate every stage of the product life cycle,” Varun Parmar, head of product at Miro, said ahead of the launch. “It’s especially valuable for supporting enterprise product teams responsible for research and development to accelerate the creation of new products and services.”

New features and improvements are set to be introduced on a rolling basis, with the company encouraging its community to share the features they would like to see next by visiting the Miro AI Wish List.
