A deep dive into the trends shaping the future of cybersecurity: theCUBE analyst insights from Fal.Con

Enterprise companies work tirelessly to outpace cyber threats and seek to come up with innovative solutions to combat the new cybersecurity risks posed by cybercriminals.

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc., a prominent name in the data security market, hosted Fal.Con this week, an event that not only showcased its offerings, but also provided valuable insights into the future of cybersecurity. With the introduction of the company’s Charlotte AI and its disruptive pricing, CrowdStrike is poised to play a large role in revolutionizing the cybersecurity landscape, making it more accessible and efficient for organizations, according to theCUBE analysts.

“If you can make them 5% more productive, that’s a hundred grand that drops right to your bottom line,” said industry analyst Dave Vellante (pictured, left). “I think Charlotte AI has the potential to do a lot more than make you 5% more productive.”

Vellante spoke with fellow analyst Lisa Martin (right) as part of a theCUBE Insights segment at Fal.Con, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed the key takeaways from the event, including the explosive growth of the ecosystem and the introduction of Charlotte AI. (* Disclosure below.)

Explosive growth in ecosystem and market influence

Fal.Con featured breaking news in the growth of the cybersecurity sector. It’s evident that CrowdStrike is making waves in the industry with the company’s significant growth from the previous year, according to Vellante.

“I was very impressed last year. It was a great show. I learned a lot about CrowdStrike, especially the products,” he said. “The one sort of area that I was kind of disappointed and it left me flat was the ecosystem last year … this is going to explode, mark my words.”

And while CrowdStrike isn’t a hype-driven entity, it excels in marketing and subtly positioning itself in the market. This is especially true of the company’s Accelerate program, which is only getting started but has already done a tremendous amount of work with the ecosystem.

Fortunately, CrowdStrike is able to thrive in the current fragmented security industry, since no one vendor holds a significant market share, according to Vellante. CrowdStrike’s depth and innovation make it a formidable player, especially in supporting security operations teams.

“Just from a thematic perspective, everything I thought at this event was very well woven together into a really cohesive story … the momentum that they have is impressive,” Martin said.
