Digital.ai enhances web application security with new Denali release
Artificial intelligence-powered software delivery solutions provider Digital.ai Software Inc. today announced the launch of Denali, the latest release of its DevSecOps platform that enhances security for web applications.
Denali has been designed to allow companies to harness the potential of AI while addressing the complexities organizations need to overcome to deliver high-quality and secure software at scale. The new release offers compatibility with the latest operating systems and development frameworks and optimizes the performance of critical applications.
Digital.ai claims that with Denali, organizations can leverage the power of AI to automate software delivery and orchestrate and govern code from AI-assisted development. Using the release, organizations gain better insights across each phase of the software delivery lifecycle, hence saving developers time and improving their access to knowledge.
Additional enhancements in Denali include self-guided workflows, templates and best practices that create efficiencies and alignment around measurable goals. The new release also provides comprehensive support for cloud-native application development and additional integrations with Terraform by HashiCorp Inc., Azure Biceps, Azure Key Vault and AWS Secret Manager.
Denali enables enterprise teams to deliver high-quality, secure apps at scale by supporting more iOS development frameworks and by providing ARM protection for iOS applications running in these new environments.
Using AI, the service further automates software delivery through improved access to product knowledge, expanded test coverage across teams and better release orchestration and code governance from AI-assisted development. The developer experience is also enhanced through the alignment of outcomes to business strategy, increasing efficiency and improving cloud strategy and transformation across hybrid environments.
“Security risks are growing in quantity and complexity,” said Greg Ellis, general manager of application security at Digital.ai. “Our new security enhancements for web applications, including the creation of a new proprietary language that is interpretable by a new virtual machine, exemplifies our commitment to continue to make the task of reverse engineering applications as frustrating as possible for threat actors.”
Digital.ai is a venture capital-backed company, having raised $313.4 million in equity and debt rounds, according to data from Owler. Investors in the company include MidCap Financial Inc., TPG Capital L.P. and KAAJ Ventures LLC.
