CrowdStrike makes SMB cybersecurity service Falcon Go available on Amazon Business

Cybersecurity company CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. today announced that its artificial intelligence-powered cybersecurity offering Falcon Go is now officially available on Amazon Business.

Falcon Go is designed to deliver the power of CrowdStrike’s protection in a simplified package for smaller information technology teams and non-technical users in small and medium-sized businesses. The service has been designed to address a claim that SMBs have been left behind when it comes to modern, cloud-delivered and AI-powered defenses. CrowdStrike argues that to close the gap and to give SMBs the same protection available to larger organizations, a tailored product is required, and this is where Falcon Go steps in.

The service leverages CrowdStrike’s AI-native Falcon platform, which offers modern endpoint protection and scored 100% for ransomware prevention in SE Labs testing. Falcon Go can be deployed immediately with preconfigured protection and a unified home screen instantly shows device protection, threat activity and product efficacy in stopping attacks.

Falcon Go stops data theft, with full visibility and control of USB media, preventing accidental and intentional exfiltration of company data. The launch of Falcon Go on Amazon Business is also the first time that CrowdStrike has offered a security product on the business-to-business service.

“Despite the fact that today’s SMBs face the same novel and sophisticated threats as large enterprises, the vast majority are using legacy [anti-virus] that has been designed to reactively defend against already-seen malware,” said Lisa Campbell, vice president of small and nedium business at CrowdStrike. “We see the Amazon Business store as a strategic channel for reaching millions of SMB buyers and a means to bring next-generation cybersecurity to the masses.”

Jennifer Johnson, chief marketing officer of CrowdStrike, spoke with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media Inc.’s live streaming studio, in September, when she discussed how the company was innovating with AI to outmaneuver cyber adversaries.

“Everything we do is all centered around understanding the adversary, predicting their next steps, staying ahead of them,” Johnson said. “Everything we do is around stopping the breach. So, as we evolve, our technology has to evolve.”
