Secure remote access gets a boost with new Cyolo-TD SYNNEX partnership

Remote privileged access management company Cyolo Ltd. today announced a new partnership with information technology distribution company TD SYNNEX Corp. aimed at enhancing secure remote access solutions for industrial enterprises.

Under the partnership, TD SYNNEX partners can offer their clients advanced secure remote access capabilities via Cyolo’s distributed Cyolo PRO platform. The platform enables service providers and IT personnel to securely access and operate critical applications, devices and systems.

The Cyolo PRO platform was launched on March 4 and secures remote access by shifting from managing access to managing operations. The solution streamlines access processes, providing a hybrid, infrastructure-agnostic solution with a low cost of change while also keeping in line with the core principles of remote privileged access management, according to the company.

The solution was designed to answer the increasing security concerns and complexity around secure remote access in OT environments. The aim of the solution is to empower organizations with safe, secure and productive remote operations, even in the most demanding mission-critical settings.

Cyolo PRO is said to be different from current technologies, such as virtual private networks and a secure access service edge, by providing users with full access to the network. Cyolo PRO enables secure and privileged access by connecting robustly verified identities to applications with persistent authorization.

The partnership enables thousands of TD SYNNEX integrators, value-added resellers, managed security service providers and carriers to provide next-generation secure remote access and remote privilege access management services to their respective customers. Cyolo PRO allows TD SYNNEX partners to address the fast-growing OT and Cyber-Physical markets by focusing on crucial elements that increase their clients’ operational agility, improve customers’ security and provide safe yet swift implementations with the lowest cost of change.

“TD SYNNEX is committed to uniting IT solutions that deliver business outcomes today and unlock growth for the future,” Cheryl Day, vice president of Vendor Acquisition and Global Solutions at TD SYNNEX, commented on the partnership. “With Cyolo added to our vast portfolio of vendor partners, we’re able to enrich the breadth and depth of our offerings so customers can do great things with technology.”

Cyolo is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $85.2 million, according to Tracxn. Investors include National Grid Partners Inc., Glilot Capital Partners LLC, Flint Capital LLC, Differential Ventures Inc. and Merlin Ventures LLC.

Sergio Farache, chief strategy officer, and Reza Honarmand, senior vice president of global cloud and hyperscale transformation, spoke with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media Inc.’s video studio, in January 2023, where they discussed how TD SYNNEX acts as a behind-the-scenes force that allows enterprises to meet their cloud transformation objectives through at least 140,000 partners:
