New Torq HyperSOC leverages AI for threat investigation and remediation

No-code automation platform startup Torq Ltd. today announced Torq HyperSOC, a new purpose-built solution that harnesses artificial intelligence to automate, manage and monitor critical security operation center responses at machine speed.

Torq HyperSOC is powered by the Torq Hyperautomation Platform and uses natural language processing to initiate and accelerate security event investigation, triage and remediation to deliver case management capabilities. The service saves analysts from alert fatigue and job burnout so they can focus on strategic security initiatives.

Designed for analysts, engineers and managers at the front line of SecOps, Torq HyerSOC reduces the need to manually deal with triage, false positives, incident investigation and response. The service arguments the expertise of SecOps professionals with generative AI to auto-investigate threat severity and commence escalation and strategic resolution.

By managing the majority of the security event processing lifecycle, Torq HyperSOC allows analysts to concentrate on strategic concerns. Through the offer of AI-driven event analysis, the service collects, analyzes and organizes unprocessed events into enriched cases ranked by severity and priority in real time.

The system also offers Hyperautomated Case Management, a feature that merges AI insights with automated processes to manage the entire case lifecycle from detection to resolution, improving security posture continuously. This is complemented by “AI-Augmented Human-in-the-Loop Remediation,” which ensures that critical decisions stay under human control, allowing analysts to oversee sensitive automated processes and ensure they comply with organizational security policies and risk assessments.

“The SecOps community has spoken. They’re demanding more from their automation platforms and are fed up with dealing with legacy security orchestration, automation and response’s tedious, antiquated approach that requires human intervention for even the most minor of tasks,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Ofer Smadari. “HyperSOC is a breakthrough solution that simultaneously elevates their roles while delivering the highest levels of protection possible for the organization.”

Torq HyperSOC is the latest solution built on the Torq Hyperautomation Platform, which offers frictionless connectivity and open integrations across any security and infrastructure stack. Torq Hyperautomation ensures consistent security operations throughout multi-cloud and self-hosted platforms.

Torq is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $120 million in funding, according to Tracxn, including a round of $42 million in January. Investors include Bessemer Venture Partners LP, Granite Global Ventures LLC (GGV Capital), Insight Partners, Greenfield Partners LLC and Evolution Equity Partners LLC.
