

Email and collaboration security startup Perception Point Inc. today announced a new partnership with cloud commerce marketplace provider Pax8 Inc. that will provide access to Perception Point’s advanced threat prevention solution to allow Pax8 partners to safeguard their customers.
The partnership sees Perception Point providing Pax8 customers with threat protection covering email, Micorosft 365 collaboration apps such as Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, and web browsers from one platform. The solutions include Perception Point’s 24/7 managed incident response service, which offloads resource-intensive and time-consuming investigations and remediation from partners.
Pax8 is a cloud marketplace and distribution company that provides a platform for IT professionals to buy, sell and manage technology solutions. Pax8 partners are businesses that utilize the platform to sell and deliver technology solutions to their customers. Partners that can tap into the service provided through the Perception Point partnership include manage service providers, value-added resellers, cloud software providers, software-as-a-service providers and hardware and peripherals vendors.
Perception Point is offering partner-customizable security solutions powered by advanced artificial intelligence, anti-evasion and sandbox technology for threat prevention. The solution scans 100% of content 40 times faster than competitors and intercept attacks before reaching end-users, according to the company.
The security suite available to Pax8 partners includes the ability to quickly provision customers via an application programming interface, eliminating the need for MX record changes or integration efforts. The solutions require minimal cybersecurity expertise, with a fully managed 24/7 incident response service that analyzes and remediates threats, manages false positives, handles on-demand investigations and rapidly addresses new and emerging attacks.
