Navigating AI adoption: Insights on strategic partnerships and business innovation
Recent industry insights highlight the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, the importance of strategic alliances in technology, and the growing emphasis on sustainability.
The importance of strategic alliances and the growing emphasis on sustainability are also key focal points. Companies are discovering the necessity of adapting to new technologies while maintaining robust security and governance frameworks, according to David Zember (pictured), senior vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at QlikTech International AB.
“I love Qlik Answers. That acquisition for us checked a lot of boxes, and I think it will be a game changer for our customers and partners,” Zember said. “It puts us in a great spot with our tech alliances. It’s a great play in the ecosystem.”
Zember spoke with theCUBE’s Savannah Peterson and Shelly Kramer at Qlik Connect, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed the transformative impact of AI on data management, strategic partnerships and the emphasis on sustainability in business innovation. (* Disclosure below.)
Driving AI innovation through strategic alliances in technology
Transitioning to AI can be daunting, especially for those accustomed to traditional business intelligence and visualization, Zember explained.
“We’ve got people who’ve lived comfortably sort of in the analytics world with business intelligence behind and visualization,” he said. “Asking them to adopt and to be comfortable in an AI world, it’s going to be a little bit out of their comfort zone. But I think the enablement team, the learning and learning management system upgrades and refresh that we’re going to do is going to help people.”
One of the significant challenges in AI adoption is finding the right balance between moving too quickly and risking errors or moving too slowly and falling behind. There is also great importance in continuous learning and curiosity in overcoming the fear associated with new technologies, Zember pointed out.
“You can ruin your business if you get this wrong. But if you move too slow, you’ll be left out,” Zember said. “You do have to find that the middle there is the best for you and make sure the customer’s in the middle of that conversation. I think being curious and learning will help demystify and remove some of that fear about things. All of us are afraid of the things we don’t know about.”
