

Business communications service provider Dialpad Inc. today announced the release of a new version of “Ai Sales,” its artificial intelligence sales platform, that helps make it easier for sellers to sell.
Powered by DialpadGPT, Dialpad’s large language model, Ai Sales leverages more than 6 billion minutes of business conversations from meetings, phone calls and digital channels to understand and coach sellers better through the sales process. The company says its business-specific data set delivers accuracy for customers and delivers AI enhancements to every stage of the sales process.
Ai Sales seeks to address the issue wherein sales teams are forced to juggle around 10 applications on average to close a single deal, pulling salespeople away from conversations and into a complicated mire of managing leads, recaps and updating managers. Ai Sales eliminates the need for multiple disjointed tools and is said to deliver the intelligence that sellers need exactly when they need it.
With the updated service, sellers can follow and rely on customized sales playbooks that show directly in the app and are specific to their business and their sales cycle. Having direct access through one tool assists sellers in properly qualifying every opportunity, handling objections and accurately positioning their solutions against the competition, all while employing best practices.
Ai Sales also accurately captures conversations, with the built-in ability to deliver immediate “Ai Recaps” with specific next steps fed into a company’s CRM system.
Other features of the service include real-time coaching that provides immediate feedback during calls and supports managers in onboarding new sellers, monitoring quality and offering real-time support. The platform also automates CRM data entry and management and integrates advanced AI analytics for performance insights to improve forecasting accuracy, according to the company

DialPad is a venture capital-backed startup that has was $476 million over nine rounds, including a round of $170 million in December 2021.
