Gen AI drives Armis’ innovations in asset intelligence and proactive cybersecurity

Today’s security incident management landscape demands companies to be agile, proactive and responsive to ever-changing threat surfaces. With generative artificial intelligence in the mix, as many solutions exist in defenders’ toolboxes as threat vectors for attackers.

How Armis excels in security incident management through innovation, proactive risk measures and AI-driven solutions.

Exploring Armis’ approach to gen AI-driven cybersecurity with Yevgeny Dibrov and Nadir Izrael.

By leveraging gen AI, Armis Inc. safeguards business-critical customer data and has doubled its annual recurring revenue figures, according to Yevgeny Dibrov (pictured, right), co-founder and chief executive officer of Armis.

“I think that it’s a combination of a lot of hard work by our team and a lot of great demand — and that Armis is actually solving problems that are the top priority for organizations across the board,” Dibrov said. “We are also always listening to the customers and what they really need from us. Our customer advisory board is a great organization that [informs] what’s the next for Armis, not just the usage of the current products.”

Dibrov and Nadir Izrael (left), co-founder and chief technology officer of Armis, spoke with theCUBE Research’s Savannah Peterson at the Black Hat USA event, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed Armis’ commitment to solving real, top-priority problems for organizations as it continues along the themes of community, innovation and proactive security incident management. AI’s impact on security incident management

Armis has integrated AI into its platform to enhance its capabilities, from data analysis to automation and remediation. The recent surge in cyberattacks has coincided with Armis’ growth, as organizations increasingly recognize the need for advanced security solutions.

“AI helps us understand data better and automate processes, which is changing the landscape of our products and what our customers are doing,” Izrael said. “On our end, I think that the usage of gen AI and how much it can help teams be that much more efficient, effective and scalable is huge.”

The company aims to shift the focus of security incident management from reactive detection and response to proactive risk mitigation. By offering a comprehensive system that manages and reduces risk, Armis provides a more cost-effective and efficient method for organizations, Izrael pointed out.

“I think the good news is AI, on the defensive side, always has one huge advantage over attackers, which is a home-court advantage — the data advantage of knowing exactly how your environment looks like,” he said. “If you’re able to make that advantage count as much as possible, you can help the teams that, day in and day out, need to handle all of these different security incidents.”
