NinjaOne enhances service provider support with free tools and white-glove migration services

Unified endpoint management and information technology management software company NinjaOne LLC today announced several updates to support managed service providers, including free warranty tracking, a free documentation tool and new white-glove professional services to help large MSPs migrate technology stacks.

NinjaOne’s new Warranty Tracking feature, available now in beta test mode, automates the management of device warranties, ensuring that businesses stay ahead of expiration dates. Being offered for free to existing customers, the service provides early warnings and streamlines replacements, allowing MSPs to avoid disruptions and keep systems running smoothly.

Early access customers of the feature cited the ability to consolidate disparate tools/save costs (31%) as the top business benefit, followed by tracking/managing device lifecycles (17%) and the ability to generate revenue through warranty tracking (10%).

“MSPs are early adopters that prioritize building scalable, competitive and profitable businesses,” said Sal Sferlazza, co-founder and chief executive. “Their technology vendors should enable not stifle their profitability and that’s why we’re offering Warranty Tracking for free.”

The company’s existing Documentation tool has also today been made available for free for up to three users. The service offers a centralized platform to store IT knowledge that helps MSPs onboard new technicians faster, saving time and improving internal processes by consolidating vital information on devices, processes and security.

To assist larger MSPs in managing complex migrations, NinjaOne has also introduced Professional Services that allow MSPs to seamlessly migrate their technology stacks without disrupting business operations. The services are designed to ease the complexity of transitioning systems by providing expert support and guidance throughout the entire migration process. Through leveraging the services, MSPs can ensure that their transition is efficient and secure and minimizes downtime.

A venture capital-backed startup, NinjaOne was previously in the news in February when it raised $231 million on a nearly $2 billion valuation. Investors in the company include Summit Partners LP, Iconiq Capital, Frank Slootman, former chairman and CEO of cloud computing data company Snowflake Inc., and Amit Agarwal, president of cloud monitoring service Datadog Inc.

As of February, NinjaOne has more than 17,000 customers and managed more than 7 million endpoints. Notable customers include HelloFresh SE, Nissan Motor Co., Nvidia Corp., the state of California and the University of Oxford.
