Cybersecurity training company Immersive Labs Inc. today announced the launch of AI Scenario Generator, a new capability that allows organizations to generate threat scenarios for crisis simulations to ensure their workforces are ready for the latest scripts.
AI Scenario Generator is pitched as being simple to use, with users able to input a few short prompts to rapidly generate and launch customized cyber exercises to prove and improve individual and team skills against various attack types, such as ransomware and supply chain threats. With the tool, organizations can also automatically tailor content by attack vector, threat actor and industry sector.
Immersive Labs said the generator reduces the time required to create and edit custom scenario content for multiple training use cases, including cyber drills and crisis simulations. Using AI Scenario Generator, the company says, customers can focus more on strategizing and spend less time on exercise preparation and administration.
AI Scenario Generator also supports personalized learning. Using the generator, organizations can customize cyber training for individual learners, greatly improving engagement and retention. It can also create realistic and challenging simulation scenarios, mirroring probable real-world crisis situations and enhancing the learner’s experience.
Key benefits include improved efficiency by reducing the time required to create and edit custom content for cyber drills and crisis simulations. The capability accelerates content creation by stimulating the development of customized exercises, enabling users to deploy relevant scenarios faster to keep pace with evolving threats.
The service also streamlines workflows, allowing customers to focus more on strategizing rather than administrative tasks. By enabling personalized training, AI Scenario Generator enhances engagement and improves training retention while creating more realistic and challenging simulation scenarios.
“Our new AI Scenario Generator allows Immersive Labs customers to harness the power of generative AI to create cybersecurity skills development that meets their unique organizational needs,” said Thanos Karpouzis, chief technology officer at Immersive Labs. “It also complements our more than 2,500 hands-on exercises and labs developed by our world-class cybersecurity subject matter experts.”
Immersive Labs is a venture capital-funded startup that has raised $189 million over four rounds. Investors in the company include Ten Eleven Ventures LP, Summit Partners LP, Insight Partners, Menlo Ventures Management LP, Citi Ventures Inc. and Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP.
