Information technology services firm Presidio Inc. today announced the launch of Private AI Accelerator, a new generative artificial intelligence solution powered by Nvidia AI and accelerated computing to create secure, scalable and customizable on-premises AI platforms.

The solution launches with initial capabilities that include personalized chat, image processing, content drafting, large language model-powered agents and document synthesis of large volumes of data.

Private AI Accelerator is designed to help enterprises leverage AI without compromising data security to ensure sensitive business information remains under their control. The solution addresses concerns around regulatory compliance, privacy risks and data governance by keeping AI workloads on-premises while at the same time enhancing IT modernization, security and digital transformation.

The platform integrates with existing IT infrastructure to allow for flexible deployment and customization to meet specific business needs. Using Private AI Accelerator, organizations can select their preferred AI models, container platforms and computing environments that align with their unique workflows. The service also supports scalable architecture, allowing businesses to start with a single server and expand to a multi-node cluster as demand grows.

Presidio’s Private AI Accelerator includes a Private GPT powered by Nvidia Corp.’s NIM microservices for LLMs, offering high-performance AI capabilities tailored for enterprise use.

The solution is compatible with a range of hardware providers, including Dell Technologies Inc., Cisco Systems Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., giving businesses multiple infrastructure options. Private AI Accelerator also helps enterprises streamline operations, improve data-driven decision-making and accelerate innovation.

Presidio was previously in the news in August when it announced that it had signed an expanded multiyear strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services Inc. to increase innovation, accelerate artificial intelligence adoption and cloud migration, and significantly expand vertical industry-focused services.
