IP Fabric releases new 7.0 update with enhanced cloud and security insights

Automated network assurance startup IP Fabric Inc. today announced the release of IP Fabric Version 7.0, a new version of the company’s platform that’s designed to simplify compliance with regulations and security frameworks and strengthen operational resiliency across multicloud environments for critical digital services.

The new release seeks to address the issue wherein global enterprises that require an end-to-end view of their complex and edge environments are faced with legacy solutions that provide only a partial technology or domain-specific view that do not meet the requirements of balancing security, stability, compliance and risk.

IP Fabric 7.0 addresses the challenge with a full end-to-end view of infrastructure and intelligent analytics that delivers a security and operational posture for innovation, including automation, artificial intelligence, cloud migration and software-defined wide-area networks. The new release gives teams what they need to execute service delivery, proactively secure and protect business continuity, plan and manage budgets and optimize processes across domains.

“The release of IP Fabric 7.0 represents another step forward in empowering all IT teams to achieve panoramic network visibility, efficiency and collaboration,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Pavel Bykov. “With features like Multi-View Dashboards, flexible snapshot sharing and even more built-in compliance verification actions, we’re enabling organizations to streamline workflows and proactively address infrastructure and security challenges like never before.”

Key features of IP Fabric 7.0 include enhanced productivity tools that streamline workflows, improve collaboration and simplify data sharing across teams. The platform includes more than 160 Automated Intent Verification Checks to proactively identify compliance, configuration and maintenance risks. New Multi-View Dashboards allow executives, security teams and engineers to create custom views without coding, while another feature, Shareable Snapshots and Tables, provides a single source of truth for network analysis and planning.

The update offers visibility across cloud and on-premises environments and can detect unmanaged devices, security vulnerabilities and end-of-life components. The new release includes expanded cloud discovery and AWS Direct Connect Transit VIF support to enhance insight into multicloud traffic flows, which are crucial for troubleshooting and optimization.

Improved SD-WAN support in the releases increases security visibility, while auto-discovery of security technologies from vendors such as Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. and Palo Alto Networks Inc. help automate compliance remediation.

Additionally, the release includes early snapshot insights that now allow users to access partial network data while full snapshots are still processing, a feature that improves efficiency in large environments. Fabric 7.0 also offers interactive application programming interface documentation that allows DevOps teams to test and execute lifecycle automation workflows directly within the platform.

IP Fabric is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $30.8 million over three rounds, including a round of $25 million in 2023. Investors in the company include One Peak Partners LLP, Senovo GmbH, Credo Ventures a.s. and Presto Ventures s.ro.
