Cyber threats aren’t just increasing; they’re evolving at an alarming rate. Artificial intelligence is fueling an arms race in cyber resilience, with enterprises scrambling to defend their systems while attackers leverage automation and machine learning to strike with unprecedented precision.
With cyber risks escalating and preparedness lagging, don’t miss theCUBE’s encore presentation of our Cyber Resiliency Summit. Our coverage provides critical insights from industry leaders on the future of cyber resilience. Featuring key discussions from cyber resiliency leaders at Dell Technologies Inc., VMware by Broadcom, Congruity360 and more, the event tackled ransomware, AI-driven threats and the pressing need for organizations to balance prevention with recovery. As cyber risks escalate, these conversations remain as critical as ever.
“From the many conversations and testimonials we heard at the Cyber Resiliency Summit, there is ample opportunity for organizations to strengthen their cyber resilience technology profile,” said Christophe Bertrand, principal analyst at theCUBE Research. “Yet, it’s about much more than technology. It is also about the human element, communications and processes. The stakes have never been higher in the age of AI-powered cyberattacks. That’s why I hope people will join our rebroadcast and take advantage of our on-demand option.”
Whether you missed the original broadcast or want to revisit the strategies that cybersecurity industry leaders shared, join theCUBE on Feb. 18 for an encore presentation of the Cyber Resiliency Summit. Attendees can look forward to new interviews and fresh insights into how organizations are adapting their defenses to meet today’s evolving cyber threats.
Check out what’s in store for theCUBE’s encore presentation of the Cyber Resiliency Summit:
Despite growing concerns, most organizations remain unprepared. PwC’s 2025 Global Digital Trust Insights survey found that only 2% of executives surveyed say their company has implemented cyber resilience measures across all critical areas. Even more concerning, the very threats they fear most — cloud-related breaches, ransomware and supply chain attacks — are the ones they feel least equipped to handle, according to the study.
As cyber threats become more sophisticated, organizations are evolving their approach to resilience, shifting from traditional disaster recovery methods to AI-driven security frameworks. The Cyber Resiliency Summit spotlighted how enterprises are adapting to this shift, showcasing thought-leading insights on the role of AI in strengthening cybersecurity defenses. Enterprises are leveraging AI to analyze threat patterns, identify vulnerabilities and implement proactive security measures to mitigate risks before they escalate. This evolution highlights the growing need for adaptive security strategies that can respond to modern cyberattack tactics, according to Vijay Ramachandran, vice president of product management, core infrastructure, at Broadcom.
“The attacks have become a lot more sophisticated,” he told theCUBE. “There are attacks that happen in memory where there’s no files involved. Previously, the legacy file-based scanning also doesn’t take into account some of the behavioral aspects of the attack. We have to evolve our infrastructure, our protection, to ensure that we not only look at the legacy way of protecting against attacks, but also [are] keeping up to date with the new ways of protecting against attacks.”
Managing unstructured data was another key focus during the event, as organizations seek better ways to assess security risks within their infrastructure. With businesses increasingly prioritizing data classification to gain visibility into their security posture, Congruity is addressing this challenge by helping companies identify risks such as exposed sensitive data, outdated files and improper access controls. This structured approach enables organizations to strengthen their security frameworks and proactively mitigate vulnerabilities, according to Mark Ward, chief operating officer at Congruity360.
“For example, are there files that exist in open shares with open read rights?” he said in an interview during the event. “Is there data in that environment that has [personally identifiable information] or sensitive or risk data? Is there data that hasn’t been accessed in over 10 years?”
The importance of recovery-first strategies was emphasized during the event, underscoring how organizations must be prepared to restore operations quickly after an attack. For example, Index Engines Inc. has prioritized this approach through Dell’s CyberSense solution, which helps businesses restore operations with clean, trusted data, according to Danielle Goode Coady, vice president of marketing at Index Engines. By focusing on recovery readiness, organizations can ensure that their data protection strategies remain effective even as threats evolve.
“We need the backup, but we also need the recovery,” she told theCUBE during the event. “When we can get customers to think about the recovery first, where they know that they’re going to recover from a clean backup, then the backup matters just as much.”
The Cyber Resiliency Summit delivered expert-led discussions on the shifting cyber resilience landscape, providing attendees with practical strategies to enhance resilience against AI-driven threats, ransomware and data vulnerabilities. As cyber threats continue to evolve, these conversations remain essential for security leaders navigating today’s high-stakes environment.
