Israeli artificial intelligence-powered security engineering startup CardinalOps Ltd. today announced new enhancements to its Threat Exposure Management platform.
The enhancements are aimed at boosting the company’s position in the continuous threat exposure management market. They come through a newly launched platform that provides security teams with better visibility, smarter prioritization and consistent workflows to address exposures and proactively reduce the risk of a breach.
With the expansion, CardinalOps now provides unified visibility across the security stack to uncover hidden exposures and gaps and automatically strengthen security controls against today’s most relevant threats.
The new features are focused on addressing the issue wherein security teams struggle with more challenges than they could realistically handle. CardinalOps argues that teams are siloed, visibility into multiple security tools is limited and remediation workflows and policies are inconsistent. That leads to fragmented prioritization and ineffective security teams who do not know where to start.
The latest enhancements to the company’s Threat Exposure Management platform address these issues by giving security teams access to a unified platform that correlates both prevention and detection tools and data. The goal is to match the speed and stealth of today’s evolving threats.
“Security teams are dealing with a surge in security findings and it is becoming increasingly challenging for siloed teams managing separate products to determine their threat exposure and how to deal with it,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Michael Mumcuoglu. “With this launch, we are enabling organizations to rethink how they approach threat exposure management. It is time to move beyond fragmented efforts with siloed tooling and adopt a more unified, context-driven approach that drives impactful remediation and reduces risk across both prevention and detection.”
With the updated platform, the company says, security teams gain unified visibility, context-driven prioritization and intelligent remediation across their security stack. It provides a comprehensive view of exposure risks, according to CardinalOps, ensuring organizations can proactively strengthen their defenses against evolving threats.
The platform’s key features include broad third-party integrations for full security stack visibility and context-driven prioritization, which helps teams focus on the most critical risks using asset intelligence and business context. The platform also delivers threat-informed defense by aligning security measures with MITRE ATT&CK and the latest threat intelligence, mapping adversary tactics to security controls.
To enhance remediation efforts, the platform also offers compensating controls to help security teams optimize prioritization and response actions. They’re accompanied by impact analysis that provides contextual insights to remediate vulnerabilities without disrupting business operations. With the combined capabilities, CardinalOps says, it delivers a holistic approach to threat exposure management that allows teams to move beyond fragmented efforts and achieve stronger, more efficient security outcomes.
