What to expect during the ‘Broadcom Delivers the Modern Private Cloud’ event: Join theCUBE June 17

The modern private cloud is fast becoming the backbone of enterprise infrastructure strategy as organizations confront the growing pressures of artificial intelligence, security and cost predictability.

As public cloud sprawl creates new layers of complexity and AI workloads demand more tailored environments, enterprises are rebalancing their approach. The modern private cloud offers a controlled, compliant foundation, one that supports rapid innovation without compromising on governance. With platform engineering and cloud maturity frameworks guiding the shift, companies are no longer just virtualizing workloads, they’re building resilient, application-aware environments designed to meet the moment, according to theCUBE Executive Analyst John Furrier.

“Those silos, you break them down, you get the integration going,” he said. “The trend is toward integration, simplicity, cohesiveness among the groups. All the work being done in private cloud right now is growing into enabling the operational sanity and comfort levels in the AI world. That’s pretty agentic.”

The “Broadcom Delivers the Modern Private Cloud” event will examine how enterprises are rethinking infrastructure strategies in response to AI complexity, rising costs and governance demands. Furrier and Rob Strechay, principal analyst at theCUBE Research, will speak with industry leaders about how Broadcom Inc. and its partners are simplifying private cloud deployment and aligning platform engineering with business outcomes. Join theCUBE on June 17 for exclusive insights into VMware Cloud Foundation advancements and the future of modern private cloud infrastructure, during the “Broadcom Delivers the Modern Private Cloud” event, live on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. Broadcom and partners position VCF for the modern private cloud

A key theme across recent conversations is the increasing need to simplify and accelerate the deployment of VCF as a foundation for modern private environments. Broadcom and its partners are working closely with customers to eliminate silos, clarify cloud maturity paths and bring agility back to on-premises infrastructure, according to Strechay.

“Everybody’s looking for the ‘Easy’ button for AI and things of that nature,” he said. “I think talking to the personas is great because data science, that’s the people who are actually building it and using the data and things like that.”

A growing alignment between infrastructure and application teams underpins these strategic moves. With AI workloads demanding tailored compute, storage and security configurations, modern private cloud environments must deliver the flexibility and performance of public cloud — without its unpredictability. New tools in VCF 9 help meet those expectations, including graphics processing units resource visibility, curated model galleries and tighter governance capabilities.

“You’re starting to see that stability moving in and setting the table for the gen AI, which is chaotic right now, but it’s starting to normalize around the clear value in enterprises,” Furrier explained. “The platform engineering side is setting the table for the gen AI movement coming in. That’s going to be a big part of it.”
