With Agentstudio, developers gain access to Boomi’s renowned low-code integration tools, a visual design interface and scalable agent orchestration — making hybrid deployments easier and more adaptive, according to Mani Gill (pictured), vice president of product management AI and data at Boomi LP.

Boomi’s Mani Gill talks with theCUBE about how Boomi Agentstudio is a comprehensive solution for scalable agent orchestration.

“Agentstudio is something that came out of a lot of feedback and planning from our customers,” Gill said. “During the last Boomi World, we released a set of our first six agents, and now we’ve got 33,000 in deployment. One of the core feedback that we got from our customers is that, ‘Hey, this is great. It’s helping us make our development easier, documentation easier, but how can you help me up-level my workflows and make them agentic, use this AI thing to automate my business better?’ And that’s where Agentsstudio was born.”

Gill spoke with theCUBE’s Savannah Peterson and Paul Nashawaty at Boomi World, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed the role that Boomi Agentstudio plays as an enterprise-grade platform in designing, governing and orchestrating AI agents at scale. (* Disclosure below.)

The connection between Boomi Agentstudio and Control Tower

As part of Boomi Agentstudio, the Boomi Agent Control Tower serves as a centralized dashboard for monitoring, scaling and orchestrating agent activity across distributed environments. Together, Agentstudio and the Control Tower enable a streamlined hybrid integration strategy — delivering both development agility and deployment robustness, according to Gill. 

“As part of building AgentsStudio, having gone through an [application programming interface] sprawl, having gone through data sprawl and application sprawl, we decided there’s going to be a lot of agents and we’re also going to build in governance through this product now that’s called the Control Tower,” he said. “As we started to imagine it from a product perspective, we said, ‘We’re not just going to stop at Boomi agents that our developers are going to build, but we’re going to support every agent out there so that you have a single control plane to be able to manage all your agents.’”

Boomi Agentstudio leverages a platform-based approach by centralizing the design, deployment and management of integration agents across hybrid environments. This approach is enabled by the Boomi Enterprise Platform, which provides a comprehensive suite of tools for integration, API management, data quality and workflow automation, according to Gill. 

“As we started building the Agentstudio, one of the things we quickly realized is that there’s a lot of patterns and a lot of richness in the platform that we can leverage,” he said. “The other part of it is [that] an agent is only as good as the information it has access to, and one of the things that Boomi Platform provides is that it provides access securely to information. When you create your connections to your NetSuite and your Salesforce, we bring that data in, we rationalize it.”
