Tech Mahindra and Boomi take a holistic approach to system integration

Partnerships can make or break a tech company, but Boomi LP feels it’s struck gold — or rather, platinum — with Tech Mahindra Ltd.

The consulting and system integration company entered Boomi World as a platinum partner, ready to highlight their joint efforts to layer agentic artificial intelligence on top of Boomi’s integration platform.

“We, along with Boomi, are working to get as many agents out as possible,” said AK Denduluri (pictured, left), vice president of transformation advisory at Tech Mahindra. “We already have 30 in the pipeline going one after the other … We told some of our customers already that next week they will see a barrage of AI agents being considered for their ecosystem and how we bring in value for them.”

Tech Mahindra leverages Boomi’s platform to tackle data challenges

Tech Mahindra and Boomi are committed to helping users maximize the benefits of the Boomi platform. They hope to address common customer issues, such as inconsistent and siloed data, through Boomi’s integration and agentic AI capabilities.

“The reason why Boomi’s embracing agentic AI so much, is because we have allowed customers to create that trusted data foundation,” Maya explained. “The next step then, is agents so you have access to good contextual data to ground your large language model. You have access to the tools that you need to build your agents. It’s the next level up. So if you’re not taking advantage of the whole platform and you have access to it, you’re really missing a trick there.”

Kumar emphasizes that data can pull out the rug out from innovation when not properly handled, citing a bank that saw its entire system shut down because of faulty data management. He also highlights the importance of thinking holistically and taking care to implement products that fit into the overall system.

“[Companies] need to have a right partner who can engage with them to ensure that what are the governance that should be taken care of?” he said. “What are the right partners? What are the right product? Because sometimes when you are implementing these pitfalls or trying to address these pitfalls, you need to have a right OEM [original equipment manufacturer] product, let’s say like a Boomi who can address this basically.”
