Low-code development platform company OutSystems Software em Rede S.A. today announced an early-access program for its Agent Workbench, a new offering that allows enterprises to create and orchestrate intelligent agents.
Agent Workbench is designed to make it easier for leaders to innovate at speed and orchestrate human and AI collaboration and can be used across any department, workflow, or data with enterprise-grade security and control.
The new offering seeks to assist organizations that need to create and scale up enterprise-grade agents. OutSystems Agent Workbench simplifies the transformation of existing business applications, workflows and tools into intelligent, agentic systems that can reason, plan and act.
“Organizations are excited by the promise of AI and agentic systems but are struggling with endless pilots and ungoverned tool sprawl while the business impact stalls,” said Chief Executive Woodson Martin. “Legacy systems, siloed data, fragmented AI tools and complex AI development cycles are slowing progress. We built Agent Workbench to make it possible to unlock custom agents as a true business enabler, not an experiment.”
With the new offering, information technology teams can embed agentic AI into enterprise-wide operations without disrupting current workflows or rearchitecting core systems, accelerating adoption. Agent Workbench makes AI a driver of enterprise innovation, from connecting to custom AI models to creating and orchestrating agents that work across all enterprise applications and data.
Agent Workbench gives organizations the tools to move beyond experimentation by enabling the creation of intelligent agents that work across systems without disrupting existing infrastructure. It supports integration with both custom models and major providers like Azure, OpenAI and AWS Bedrock, allowing centralized AI governance, cost optimization and multivendor flexibility within a single platform.
The platform also introduces a unified data fabric that connects agents to a wide range of enterprise sources, including relational databases, data lakes and knowledge retrieval tools such as Amazon Kendra and Azure AI Search. .
