RAD Security debuts RADBots to streamline security investigations and compliance

Cloud-native threat detection and response startup RAD Security Inc. today announced the launch of RADBots, autonomous digital workers that help security teams investigate faster, explain risk clearly and automate actions across the tech stack.

Launching ahead of the annual Black Hat USA 2025 conference, each RADBot has a clear role, tracking sensitive data, monitoring shadow artificial intelligence, or managing compliance, delivering simple, contextual updates into RAD’s unified Inbox.

“RADBots give security teams a new way to get real work done,” said co-f0under and Chief Technology Officer Jimmy Mesta. “Each bot is built for a specific job — triage, compliance, investigation or prioritization — and operates with the full context of your environment.”

The RADBots launch with several major capabilities designed to change the way security automation is operationalized. Each RADBot serves a specific function: VulnBot addresses security posture, CloudBot manages detection and response, GRCBot handles compliance and reporting, and Ask RADBot supports investigation and follow-up.

The bots operate with real-time, environment-specific context to identify risks, explain their significance and recommend next steps. GRCBot, in particular, automates everything from framework mapping to audit output, helping answer critical compliance questions such as “Are we covered?”

All insights from RADBots are delivered through RAD Security’s unified Inbox, which serves as the command surface for security teams, giving analysts and security leaders structured, actionable updates in one place. The setup allows for faster triage and decision-making, improving workflow clarity for security, compliance and executive stakeholders alike.

Additionally, teams can interact with RADBots directly across RAD’s user interface. The Ask RADBot feature allows users to pose real-time questions and receive detailed, contextual risk explanations without leaving their workflow.

RADBots also come with enhanced integrations with platforms from companies including Wiz Inc., CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. and Okta Inc., to provide broader visibility and deeper fidelity across the tech stack.

With today’s launch, RAD Security says it is doubling down on its mission to make security actually make sense. Using AI-powered digital workers, the RAD platform automates investigations, connects the dots between threats, prioritizes what really matters and delivers clear, actionable insights that can be trusted.

RAD Security is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $20 million over two rounds, including a round of $14 million in February. Investors in the company include Cheyenne Ventures, Forgepoint Capital Management, Lytical Ventures, Akamai Technologies Inc., .406 Ventures, Vertex Ventures Holdings Pte Ltd. and Gula Tech Adventures.
