Apple device management company Addigy Inc. today announced the launch of Addigy Security Suite, a new real-time, Apple-first security and compliance suite that delivers zero-trust security and automated, real-time compliance for Apple fleets.
The suite has been designed to simplify endpoint protection, automate compliance and deliver 24/7 threat defense for macOS devices across organizations of all sizes. Under the hood, the suite integrates Addigy mobile device management with SentinelOne Inc.’s endpoint detection and response, or EDR, and managed detection and response, or MDR, to make it easy to protect Apple fleets with enterprise-grade security features that are traditionally limited to Windows environments.
Addigy Security Suite addresses the growing issue of misconfigurations. According to a Verizon Data Breach Investigation’s report, they account for 30% of security breaches and are expected by Gartner to grow to 60% by 2029. With Apple devices increasingly used in business, Addigy argues, organizations urgently need a best-of-breed solution that slashes misconfigurations and provides the 24/7 visibility needed to boost security.
“With this release, Apple devices are no longer a security blind spot,” said founder and Chief Technology Officer Jason Dettbarn. “Addigy is empowering IT teams and managed service providers with the only fully integrated, sure-fire security solution that covers compliance, access control, EDR and MDR, all purpose-built for the Apple ecosystem.”
Addigy has simplified the challenge of securing Apple environments by allowing information technology teams and managed service providers to manage anywhere from 50 to 50,000 devices with reliable, automated security and compliance. The new suite integrates SentinelOne EDR for real-time malware and ransomware protection with automated remediation and SentinelOne MDR for 24/7 security operations center coverage, ensuring continuous monitoring and response.
Additional capabilities include macOS Conditional Access to enforce zero-trust policies, Automated Compliance Remediation with self-healing policies for encryption, firewalls and OS versions, and Audit Dashboards & Reporting. They generate exportable reports to meet standards such as System and Organization Controls 2, Center for Internet Security and National Institute of Standards and Technology within minutes.
For IT teams, the Addigy Security Suite reduces compliance workloads, simplifies audit preparation and ensures Macs meet the same security standards as Windows machines. For MSPs, the new suite enables Apple security-as-a-service offerings that scale across multitenant environments, with white-labeled compliance reporting, client-friendly dashboards and zero need for an in-house security operations center.
“Security should never be an afterthought, especially for Apple environments that have long been underserved,” said Tracy Ryan, assistant vice president of Global MSSP/MSP at SentinelOne. “By partnering with Addigy, we’re making it effortless for IT teams and MSPs to deploy SentinelOne’s EDR and MDR across macOS fleets in just a few clicks.”
