Cloud data management and data security company Rubrik Inc. today announced an expanded partnership with CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. with the integration of Rubrik Identity Resilience into the CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security platform.

The new integration is designed to advance identity security by allowing customers to roll back malicious identity changes surgically and restore identity providers to a safe state.

The integration seeks to address the fact that, as identity-driven attacks increase in speed and sophistication, organizations are under pressure to protect hybrid identities across on-premises and cloud environments.

CrowdStrike says Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security already protects every identity, human, nonhuman and artificial intelligence agent, across the full hybrid identity lifecycle, blocking initial access, preventing privilege escalation and stopping lateral movement. With the integration with Rubrik Identity Resilience, customers can take the next step of reversing malicious changes and returning identity systems to a secure, immutable state. Together, Rubrik says, the integration delivers unified identity security that adapts, defends and outpaces adversaries.

With the new integration, customers gain real-time identity threat detection and malicious change correlation. Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security provides AI-driven correlation of suspicious changes across identity providers such as Active Directory, Entra ID and Okta, while Rubrik ingests those alerts and identifies the malicious changes made by the compromised identity.

Customers also gain the ability to undertake surgical rollbacks of malicious changes. Rubrik Identity Resilience recovers and rolls back malicious actions, restoring them to a known, safe state, leveraging immutability to prevent re-exploitation.

With Rubrik Security Cloud’s integrations with Falcon Fusion SOAR, Next-Gen SIEM, Falcon Threat Intelligence and Charlotte AI, customers gain access to accelerated investigation and workflow within the Falcon console. Security teams can streamline the investigation and response process by initiating rollback actions, tracking completion and orchestrating recovery workflows.
