Artificial intelligence-native observability startup Dash0 Inc. revealed today that it has raised $35 million in new funding to accelerate its expansion in the U.S. and Europe while doubling down on research and development to develop further its AI-native observability platform and Agent0 copilot.
Founded in 2023, Dash0 offers an observability platform that aims to reset how software systems are monitored, diagnosed and managed. The platform is built on AI, rather than layering AI onto existing systems and is also built around open standards.
Dash0 addresses the issue whereby traditional observability tools generate too much noise, are expensive and remain complex to operate. The company’s Agent0, an AI agent for site reliability engineering and DevOps teams, generates actionable artifacts such as alerts, dashboards, or pipeline rules, instead of simple insights like traditional tools do and guides users toward fixing root causes.
Agent0 is underpinned by Dash0’s SIFT framework, a four-step pipeline — spam filter, ingest, filter, triage — that refines telemetry data so it becomes more useful and less overwhelming. SIFT removes irrelevant telemetry and enriches and structures relevant data with filtering and grouping that helps reduce cognitive load and also features automated triage steps that attempt to isolate probable root causes.
SIFT operates on open standards from OpenTelemetry and Dash0 supports formats such as PromQL and Perses so that users aren’t locked into proprietary data as the system emphasizes interoperability and transparency.
The company also provides dashboards, alerts, metrics, logs, traces, synthetic monitoring, integrations and application programming interfaces so users can inspect, query and react to system behavior.
“Observability today is broken: too noisy, too expensive and too complex,” said founder and Chief Executive Mirko Novakovic (pictured, far left). “With SIFT, we’ve already built the foundation to remove noise, enrich signals and surface root causes. Now, with Agent0, we put an AI-native copilot at the heart of observability – a system that can act on insights and help users resolve issues in real time.”
Dash0 formally launched nine months ago and in that time has grown to more than 270 customers across various industries. The company claims it has established itself as one of the fastest-growing platforms in the observability market. Notable customers include Linearity GmbH, Tessl Inc., Duna Inc., Telegraph Media Group Ltd., Chargetrip B.V. and Understory Inc.
The Series A funding round was co-led by by Accel Partners LP and Cherry Ventures Management GmbH, with existing investor DIG Ventures also participating.
“By building on their SIFT framework and making Agent0 the centerpiece, Dash0 is redefining how observability will work in the AI era: open, actionable and AI-native,” said Christian Meermann, a partner at Cherry Ventures.
