Threat intelligence firm Recorded Future Inc. today announced the launch of Autonomous Threat Operations, a cyber operations product that transforms how organizations defend against advanced threats by eliminating the manual limitations that restrict security teams to reactive, sporadic threat detection.
Revealed at the company’s Predict 2025 conference, the new offering is being pitched by Recorded Future as representing an exponential shift to solve the most pressing cyber operations challenges: putting threat intelligence into operation across the entire security ecosystem.
“Security teams are trapped by manual limitations, struggling with operationalizing threat intelligence to counter attacks that are happening at machine speed,” said Chief Executive Colin Mahony. “Autonomous Threat Operations breaks these limitations through AI-powered continuous hunting and automatic correlation within our Intelligence Graph. This isn’t incremental improvement — this is transformational.”
Autonomous Threat Operations operates continuously 24/7 without manual query creation and is powered by Recorded Future’s more than 15 years of specialized threat intelligence. Threats are detected and correlated automatically across all intelligence sources, reducing critical gaps and using the service, analysts who previously spent 60% to 70% of their time on manual correlation and alert triage can now focus on high-value investigation and response.
Core features include continuous threat detection that replaces sporadic manual hunting schedules, reduced correlation bottlenecks that previously consumed two to four hours per incident, unified intelligence from multiple third-party sources automatically correlated with source attribution and analyst productivity transformation from manual limitations to strategic investigation focus.
Strategic benefits include autonomous threat operations capability that transforms cyber operations from manual to AI-powered continuous defense, a proven foundation, Intelligence Graph integration leveraging more than 200 billion nodes for superior autonomous correlation and source attribution and platform evolution that enhances existing investments while operationalizing Threat Intelligence.
“Autonomous Threat Operations demonstrates what becomes possible when manual limitations are removed,” added Mahony. “This cyber operations breakthrough is the first of comprehensive intelligence operations capabilities that will transform how organizations approach security across all domains.”
Recorded Future has been owned by Mastercard Inc. since December, after a deal to acquire the company for $2.65 billion was announced in September.
