Isaac Piñon, director of product marketing, B2B solutions and software, at Dell Technologies Inc., talks with theCUBE during Microsoft Ignite 2025 about how hybrid AI is transforming today’s digital landscape and why Dell Copilot+ PCs are the practical platform delivering it. AI

Inside the rise of hybrid AI PCs and what it means for everyday work

As artificial intelligence automates routine work and elevates human decision-making, redefining hybrid AI in the modern workplace has become essential. By combining human intelligence with machine-driven speed and scale, organizations can offload repetitive, data-intensive tasks while giving people more room for strategy, creativity and innovation.

Dell Copilot+ PCs — built on Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC architecture — are designed with that shift in mind, representing a purposeful step forward in hybrid AI. By blending on-device intelligence with Microsoft’s cloud-enabled Copilot+ capabilities, the devices create faster, more secure and cost-efficient AI workflows that help businesses boost day-to-day productivity and build toward long-term AI readiness, according to Isaac Piñon (pictured), director of product marketing, B2B solutions and software, at Dell Technologies Inc.

“AI is transforming businesses at an unprecedented pace,” Piñon said. “Dell views the AI world’s hybrid, a combination of cloud, on-prem and edge, all the way down to the PC. The next generation of applications are all being written for the NPU-enabled machines. There are some ISVs and partners that we work with today that are already using them. Dell Copilot+ PCs are the perfect choice for future proofing your AI PC investments, and it becomes the new standard for every day, on-device AI applications.”

Piñon spoke with theCUBE’s Rob Strechay during Microsoft Ignite, for an exclusive conversation on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how hybrid AI is transforming today’s digital landscape and why Dell Copilot+ PCs are the practical platform delivering it. (* Disclosure below.)

Dell Copilot+ PCs: Transforming work with hybrid AI intelligence

Dell Copilot+ PCs redefine hybrid AI in action. Copilot Voice turns AI into an intelligent assistant that listens, understands and acts in real time, transforming workflows. Meanwhile, Copilot Vision adds context-aware visual intelligence, allowing users to interact seamlessly with images, documents and screens — making previously manual or error-prone tasks faster and smarter, according to Piñon.

“We recently announced a couple of new features, or Microsoft recently announced a couple of new features,” he said. “You’ve got Copilot Voice, which makes interacting with your AI PC as easy as speaking to it, and then there’s also Copilot Vision, which offers guidance based on what you see on your screen. You’ve got these Copilot+ experiences that help you work on productivity — so, features like Recall and Click to Do, which streamline your workflow.”

On-device AI is essential for data-sensitive industries because it processes information locally, reducing the need to send confidential data to the cloud. This dramatically strengthens privacy, boosts security and supports compliance with strict regulatory standards, Piñon pointed out.

“Security is paramount everywhere,” he said. “When you have on-device AI and an MPU, it’s going to keep your sensitive information, like healthcare records or financial data local to the device, and it really reduces the exposure to cloud-based risks. So, the application, or the approach, really supports compliance with data governance regulations while enabling advanced AI applications.”
