DuploCloud launches AI DevOps Engineers that execute real infrastructure work

Artificial intelligence-powered DevOps automation company DuploCloud Inc. today announced the launch of AI DevOps Engineers, a new service that allows companies to leverage agentic workflows to provision, troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure.

AI DevOps Engineers are designed to assist with the issue where, as AI reshapes software operations, DevOps teams are still stretched thin among tasks such as maintaining infrastructure, ensuring compliance and meeting aggressive release timelines.

Differing from traditional AI assistants that only make recommendations, AI DevOps Engineers execute real DevOps have the ability to provision, troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure safely within guardrails. In doing so, they don’t replace humans but amplify the output of human teams without adding headcount, the company says.

The AI DevOps Engineers came with different specializations, such as Kubernetes, observability, compliance, cost optimization or architecture management and are powered by DuploCloud’s orchestration layer that connects the AI DevOps agents, DevOps tools, infrastructure and end users.

The new service also allows teams to build and deploy their own AI DevOps Engineers using the same platform, with support for customizing them to individual environments and workflows.

“Our mission is to make DevOps as autonomous as it is secure,” said founder and Chief Executive Venkat Thiruvengadam. “We’re giving teams AI engineers that don’t just recommend fixes — they act. That means DevOps teams can finally keep pace with product roadmaps, focus on strategy and accelerate innovation.”

The AI DevOps Engineers offering includes an Agentic Help Desk that offers a conversational interface where teams can triage tickets, trigger deployments and resolve incidents alongside these AI engineers. The help desk combines human oversight with AI execution to reduce the mean time to resolution and ensure full compliance visibility.

DuploCloud’s platform integrates directly with Amazon Web Services Inc., Microsoft Azure and the Google Cloud Platform to automate infrastructure provisioning, security and compliance. The new AI DevOps Engineer and Agentic Help Desk capabilities are available immediately to all DuploCloud customers.

The venture capital-backed startup has raised $49.5 million over three rounds, according to data from Tracxn. Investors in the company include WestBridge Capital, StepStone Group Inc., Mayfield Fund Management and Monta Vista Capital.
