Oracle Corp. today unveiled dozens of new prebuilt artificial intelligence agents across its Fusion Cloud Applications suite, spanning marketing, sales, service and supply chain functions.
The more than 40 new agents run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and are natively integrated within Oracle Fusion applications at no additional cost.
Oracle positioned the new agents as a way to transform traditionally slow and reactive business processes into automated workflows that can surface insights and take actions with little or no human oversight. The agents are built using Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, a platform that customers and partners can also use to create and manage their own custom agents.
In marketing, Oracle introduced a set of agents intended to help organizations plan, design and execute campaigns with less manual coordination between teams.
- The Program Planning Agent helps marketers plan, launch and optimize cross-sell and upsell programs by defining campaign goals, identifying audiences and developing core narratives.
- A related Program Brief Agent automates the creation of campaign briefs by generating summaries of objectives, target audiences, key messages, content requirements and recommended tactics.
- A new Program Orchestration Agent analyzes campaign briefs and translates them into actionable tactics and marketing assets.
- A Buying Group Agent is meant to help marketing teams identify and segment buying groups and zero in on candidates most likely to buy.
- The Customer Insights Agent analyzes account data such as billing status, renewal timing and service interactions to help marketers ground campaigns in measurable signals.
- Other marketing agents include an Audience Analysis Agent, which recommends audience targeting strategies, and a Copywriting Agent that drafts emails, landing pages and web copy aligned with brand guidelines. An Image Picker Agent recommends visuals from pre-approved assets.
Sales help
For sales teams, Oracle announced four new agents aimed at improving account research, accelerating quote development and reducing churn risk.
- The Contact Insights Agent provides contextual information about contacts, their connections and their importance within an account.
- The Quote Generation Agent assembles quotes by analyzing inputs such as emails, drawings or customer requirements.
- A Renewal Agent monitors contract health and margin risk and generates renewal briefs with usage trends, profitability insights and upsell recommendations.
- The My Territory Agent helps sales representatives review account performance and identify expansion opportunities across their assigned territory.
In customer service, Oracle is introducing agents that support both field technicians and customer-facing service representatives.
- The Start-of-Day Agent generates daily assignment summaries for field technicians to improve timing and preparation.
- The Work Order Scheduling Agent helps field service organizations schedule work orders aligned with customer availability, technician skills and parts readiness.
- A Customer Self Service Agent answers customer questions, creates and tracks service issues and escalate cases to live agents when needed.
- An Attachment Processing Agent extracts and summarizes relevant information from file attachments.
Streamlined supply chains
New agents for Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing are embedded within supply chain workflows spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, inventory management, order management and logistics.
- A Planning Cycle Agent coordinates planning tasks.
- A Component Replacement Agent supports product lifecycle management by identifying parts being replaced, recommending alternatives, analyzing supply chain impacts and generating change orders.
- A Planning Measure Expression Agent translates business questions into defined planning calculations and key performance indicators.
- The new Autonomous Sourcing Agent automates competitive bidding for low-dollar, high-volume purchases.
In manufacturing and maintenance, a new Maintenance Work Order Cost Estimation Advisor Agent estimates work order costs based on planned labor, materials and resource usage and delivers the data through a conversational interface.
- An Outside Processing Shipping Agent streamlines shipping workflows for components and assemblies.
- An Inventory Tasking Agent assigns warehouse work based on skills, availability, zones and priorities.
- The Inventory Aging Advisor Agent identifies slow-moving inventory, assesses holding costs and recommends resolutions.
- In logistics and order management, a Wave Research Advisor Agent helps warehouse teams analyze batches of work, identify root causes of delays and recommend corrective actions.
- A Task Management Assistant detects missed planned ship dates, highlights at-risk orders and revises task priorities to prevent shipment delays.
- A Purchase Order to Sales Order Converter Agent extracts data from PDF purchase orders to create sales orders.
- The Product Configuration Agent interprets requirements in natural language, compares configuration options and generates final plans for quotes and orders.
- A Service Parts Advisor Agent can recommend parts needed to resolve service issues based on service history and knowledge base information and can place orders automatically.
