Cybersecurity startup Kai Cyber Inc. today launched with an announcement that it has raised $125 million in new funding to develop and scale up its platform.
Founded in 2025 by Galina Antova, a co-founder of industrial cybersecurity company Claroty Ltd., and Damiano Bolzoni, a co-founder of SecurityMatter Ltd. (pictured), Kai offers an artificial intelligence-driven cybersecurity platform designed to address the increasing use of automation and AI in cyberattacks.
Kai’s platform uses autonomous agents to monitor environments, analyze security telemetry and execute defensive actions without requiring continuous human intervention. The AI agents ingest data from enterprise networks, cloud environments, endpoints and security tools to detect abnormal behavior, potential vulnerabilities and indicators of compromise. The system continuously evaluates exposure and attack paths, correlates events across multiple data sources and can initiate automated containment or remediation actions through integrations with existing security infrastructure.
Key capabilities of Kai’s offering include exposure analysis, threat detection and incident response workflows executed through automated decision loops. The AI agents assess system configurations, software vulnerabilities and network relationships to identify potential entry points and privilege escalation paths. If and when the agents detect suspicious activity, the platform can investigate related signals, map the sequence of events and trigger response actions such as isolating affected assets, revoking credentials or initiating additional monitoring steps.
“Cybersecurity is quickly becoming a contest between AI systems,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Galina Antova. “The decisive factor is which side has richer data and can act at machine speed with human expert accuracy. We’ve created a unified, agentic cybersecurity platform from the ground up. Kai replaces fragmentation with intelligent, autonomous agents that execute security work end-to-end across multiple use cases and we’re just getting started.”
Kai is pitching its platform as ideal for enterprise environments that operate across hybrid infrastructure, including on-premises systems, cloud services and operational technology networks.
Although only formally launching this week, the company has already signed multiple large customers and says it has generated more than seven figures in bookings. Adoption spans multiple industries, including energy, pharmaceuticals, automotive and hospitality.
The seed and Series A funding round was led by Evolution Equity Partners, with N47 Ventures and unnamed strategic investors also participating.
“AI has ushered in a new era for cybersecurity, disrupting traditional defense while enabling new, automated attacks humans alone can’t match,” said Richard Seewald, founder and managing partner of Evolution Equity Partners. “Kai’s approach was designed to close that gap by letting agentic AI prioritize action and execute response.”
