Verizon Brings GameTanium, Offers On-demand Android Games

We all love Android, and of course the range of applications it provides. So, if you’re an owner of an Android smartphone, there’s going to be a moment of glee that Verizon has got something nice to offer you. Verizon has teamed up with Exent to launch a new GameTanium service that provides its Android customers access to hundreds of games and applications for only $5.99 a month.

GameTanium will offer on-demand access to 100 Android smartphone games and over 50 tablet titles, which makes easy for users to select and download the titles, without making many efforts. These games will be devoid of advertisements (Wow, ads are just so irritating!), and some of the renowned titles include Doodle God, Fruit Ninja, World of Goo, Plants vs. Zombies and Radiant.

If you are an owner of any of the following devices, you can have the convenience of using GameTanium service:

Casio: G’zOne Commando
Motorola: Droid 2, Droid 3, Droid Bionic, Droid Global, Droid Incredible, Droid Pro, Droid R2D2, Droid RAZR, Droid X, Droid X2
HTC: Incredible 2, Rhyme, Thunderbolt
L:G Englighten, Revolution, Vortex
Pantech Breakout
Samsung: Droid Charge, Fascinate, Stratosphere,
Sony Ericsson: Xperia Play

Besides, some non-Verizon customers can also have the benefit of this service as Exent also partnering with Tata DOCOMO in Korea, which will make it available as a freely downloadable application.

Verizon’s initiative of introducing this on-demand Android game service is quite good, as this is a good way of curbing the expenses related to smartphones. Yet another goodie offered by Verizon is the introduction of ‘Share Everything Plans – The unlimited talk and text with shared data’. The Share Everything plans are a direct response to the increase in data, usage that is steadily increasing as more and more people use their smartphones significantly more.
