CalypsoKey

This product is an innovative locking system that utilizes Near Field Communication to offer an easier way of unlocking doors without compromising security.  It is compatible with CalypsoRing, CalypsoLoop and CalypsoCabrio cases for the iPhone 4/4S and iPhone 5.  It uses two RFID antennae: 13.56 MHz RFID ISO 14443A and 125kHz RFID, and is compatible with most RFID NFC worldwide access points.  Each transmitter has its own unique secured ID so you don’t have to worry about anyone with a CalypsoKey compatible case entering your home or office.

Automatic Link

This nifty little device turns your smartphone into the perfect driving assistant.  Just plugin Automatic Link into your car’s data port and it will automatically perform real-time reading to see what’s going on your car.  It collects information such as driving paths, frequency, MPG, your driving score which tells you how good a driver you are, it reads engine trouble codes and displays all the information on the dedicated smartphone app.

It also alerts you if your actions are causing the vehicle to use up more gas so you can prevent making those mistakes, but perhaps he most important feature is that the built-in accelerometer detects crashes and automatically calls 911 for help and can send out text messages to your family and friends.

MYO

This armband brings gesture control to a whole new level.  Instead of relying in cameras or sensors to detect a person’s movement and translate to a computer readable action, MYO measures the electrical activities in a person’s muscles so you can interact with computers seamlessly.  No need to setup, just wear MYO right out of the box and start controlling the world around you.  You can “control presentations, video, content, games, browse the web, create music, edit videos,” on your Mac or PC.  Preorder your MYO for $149, but be informed that there’s a really long wait for the device.  The next batch will be shipping in early 2014.  Also, developers are welcome to play with MYO, think of other ways how the technology can best be utilized for our daily lives.
