Updated with full video – see below.

Welcome to NewsDesk on SiliconANGLE TV for Tuesday July 2, 2013. Wikibon Principal Research Contributor Jeff Kelly has had a busy two months on the road with The Cube covering SAP Sapphire, HP Discover, GE Industrial Internet, MongoNYC and Hadoop Summit among others. This morning he catches up with us to share what he’s found from his adventures on the road.

See live feed below or visit youtube.com/siliconangle to watch on-demand.

Jeff’s had a very busy couple of months, and he’s here to tell us about his experiences of SiliconANGLE’s Spring Tour.

On today’s show, you’ll hear Jeff discuss what he discovered over the last quarter from actual practitioners of big data looking into the real world cases for Hadoop, and his projections for Hadoop’s growth over the next two years.

You’ll hear his comments on the legacy mega-vendors and how they’re adapting to the Big Data revolution, and we will discuss how Big Data will also be affected by industry itself.

We also hope to hear more about the vendor landscape from Jeff, particularly legacy mega-vendors and how they’re adapting to this Big Data transition that’s made Hadoop so influential.
