Codero Launches Codero Cloud 2.0

Codero Hosting announced a new cloud offering a powerful range of new features, flexibility and scalability. The product is designed to power customers with an optimum cloud that is tunable for performance, control and efficiency for the real world wide range of applications in existence today.  The platform is powered by CloudStack and was developed to include rapid provisioning, guaranteed CPU performance, on-demand cloud server scaling, with hybrid-ready Dual VLAN readiness.  The product reflects the range of performance requirements that are in demand in the world of hybrid cloud computing.

Sometimes, an application or database can be resource-intensive, and complementing those requirements in your average cloud can quickly escalate costs, and depreciate in scalability as it gets more complex to support that high performance.  Codero is dashing both of those issues with their hybrid cloud approach, rapid scalability that is easy to integrate, easy to tune for your performance requirements equals big gains in efficiency, cost strategy, and capacity to scale.  Senior Vice President of Product Development Chandler Vaughn:

“Different workloads require different resources and architectures to be sound and perform well at scale. That’s why we always tell our customers, “the cloud is for everyone, but it is not necessarily for everything you do.” Just look at the variety of applications and workloads that are out there. In case you missed it, read our previous blog post entitled “Don’t believe the hype: Dedicated Hosting is 3x cheaper than AWS” and you will immediately see what I mean when we say we need to place apps on the right systems for the business goals we are attempting to achieve. Not thinking it through can cost you a lot of time, money, and frustration.”

With a wide range of operating systems available at the touch of a simple control panel, with storage, cloud, and networking options that are easy to implement, the platform presents a tremendous business value amidst an endless sea of what can often be confusing cloud options and technologies.  Codero Cloud also integrates a built-in dedicated private networking features that is designed for easy integration and quick hybrid-scenario adoption.  Codero’s delivery of this product on CloudStack open-source technology means innate flexibility with customer technology, but it also indicates further product technologies will be developed for the platform, a fact that they have previewed.

Performance and flexibility are not the only drivers that will bring customers to the platform.  One of the glaring truths out there is that sometimes cloud adoption is thwarted by the complexity of exercising controls over an environment – and thus controls, auditing and security become real challenges.  Codero Cloud’s ability to quickly adopt and integrate into hybrid-cloud scenarios mean that level of control is easily achieved where it is most needed.  At the same time, the scalable and flexible features of the cloud are still on hand, ready when needed.  Little if any changes are required to IT processes, such as reporting, audits, and security constructs.

Whether you want to run your databases on bare metal servers and leverage the cloud for web servers; you need more control for your application with dedicated private networking; or you need to securely protect data because of specific security and compliance requirements, our services have you covered so you can get exactly what you need.

Codero has furthered their leading brand of service, value, and product to provide a powerful new cloud option within the industry.  They’ve also laid out their case for performance with various benchmarks and incentives to try the service out.
