Best Buy vs. Target vs. Amazon: Cyber Monday’s top deals

cyber monday holiday online shopping etailer christmas tree storeIf Black Friday was a bust, don’t fret — Cyber Monday has arrived. Gaining popularity since the term was coined back in 2005, Cyber Monday is becoming a highly anticipated day for shoppers and retailers alike. According to an infographic (below) from InternetInYourArea.com, last year’s Cyber Monday revenue grossed over $537,000,000 more than Black Friday. Amazon led last year’s Cyber Monday sales with 43,340,932 visitors, generating 426 sales per minute.

So what makes Cyber Monday more lucrative for consumers? First off, shopping online is less hazardous for your health and you won’t get trampled on by a raging mass of shoppers; second, the discount offered during Cyber Monday is significant, averaging 20 percent off retail prices.

Last year, 55 percent of Cyber Monday shoppers used their mobile devices to purchase goods. This year, that number is expected to increase and Cyber Monday’s revenue is expected to reach a whopping $1,987,736,507.86.

So what amazing deals await for you this Cyber Monday?
