There are many connected devices available for our homes these days, but do they play well together? Is one brand of connected devices compatible with another? Or are you stuck with one line of products once you make a purchase?
.
Many players in the Internet of Things industry are addressing this issue by creating a single platform that supports multiple brands of devices. “We don’t want to tell the consumer that you must buy this one sensor or thermostat,” Tauhert said. “We want to allow the consumer to engage on multiple types of devices.”
