Delivering secure, performance-oriented and cost-effective solutions in the stack continues to be a primary focus at Sphere 3D Corp.

During VMworld2015, Peter Bookman, global strategist for Sphere 3D, talked with Stu Miniman, cohost of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, about who is driving the innovation and leading the way to optimizing workloads and hyper-convergence for the company internationally.

Growing a partner ecosystem across security, performance and cost

Sphere 3D has grown a partner ecosystem across considerations like security, performance and cost. The company is able to help deliver solutions to everything from education to healthcare through its projects and optimizing workloads.

Helping healthcare

“We are doing, as far as I know, the largest distributed healthcare deployment for VDI [virtual desktop infrastructure] and applications and storage I’ve ever heard of or seen,” according to Bookman. “Over 400 separate locations, all over the world, and growing …”

Bookman went on to explain all of the capabilities the company is offering to its customers.
