Revols custom-fit earphones are killing it on Kickstarter

Finding a pair of headphones that fit your ears perfectly can be a frustrating and costly process. Most of us are not willing to pay a fortune to get custom headphones made so have to end up dealing with the annoyance of the one size fits all versions.

Revols is looking to solve this problem for you with their earphones that mold to the shape of your ear in a remarkable 60 seconds.

Finding earphones that mold to the shape of your ear is obviously a product that users are incredibly interested in, as can be seen by the success of their Kickstarter campaign.

With 52 days to go, they have 610 percent of their $100,000 goal pledged. An astounding 2,674 backers have already pledged $610,599.

Perfect fitting earphones uniquely for you

Buying off the rack earphones are never going to fit everyone the same. They are either going to be too small, too big, cause discomfort or not give you the music quality that you want. Revols say their earphones can provide “perfect fit, delivering the unparalleled comfort and sound you have been searching for.”

Molding your Revols earphones to fit your unique ears is a quick and easy process, using their companion smartphone app. Place the earphones in each ear, ensure you have a snug fit and press the “start” button on the app running on your Bluetooth-paired smartphone. Just 60 seconds later, the earphones transform from the gel-like texture to their customized, permanently hardened shape.

The wireless headphones ensure you can wear them anywhere, whether out on a run or sitting at your desk and their unique shape ensures they will never fall out.

Not only did Revols want to provide a perfectly fitting earphone, but also a great listening experience. They have collaborated with Japanese corporation, Onkyo, who have over 70 years’ experience in providing high-end audio technology.

The Revols earphones come with eight hours of playtime, but you can extend the battery by a further six hours by using the Revols Revive battery pack. The battery extender easily clips onto the back of the earphone wire, ensuring your battery’s earphones will not die on that long-haul flight.

Their super early bird and early bird specials are all gone, but you can still pick up a pair of Revols earphones for $199. Their Kickstarter special will save you $101 on the expected retail price of $300. Shipping is due to start in June 2016.
