How one company partners with HPE at the ‘DNA level’ | #HPEDiscover
The HPE Discover 2015 event in London continued into its second day, and the buzz shifted toward various channel partnerships that the industry giant enjoys. Kerry Bailey, SVP of WW Indirect Sales at HPE, and Jorge Queiroz Machado, CEO of ITEN Solutions (ITEN), spoke to John Furrier and Dave Vellante, cohosts of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, during the event.
Bailey discussed the active HPE partner ecosystem, saying that the company is clear with its partners and is there to enable them, not conflict with them. Partners are first in the company’s relationships, and they utilize a channel model that poses competitive deals, strategy and services that teams up with what HPE provides. In order to do so, the program has to be flexible enough to service these partners, and ITEN is one of those companies that needs a cooperative relationship.
ITEN is a Portugal-based solutions provider that provides cloud, infrastructure, IT services, IT management, and more for a large group of clients. Machado shared that the company is about selling services around the cloud, as well as infrastructure, and HPE is a partner that gives them great value. Its integrated stack of channel services is complemented by the HPE partnership at a DNA level, and that benefits the company with world-class solutions that it provides its customers.
