Kid developer faces VMware pro in CUBEmadness Finals: VOTE NOW!
CUBEmadness 2016 has seen victory and defeat, as 64 of the best interviews in tech coverage dueled to reach the Finals. Now, thanks to your votes, only two remain. These two contestants, incredible interviews both, must face one final battle. Your vote will decide the winner. The time is now. Your vote is all that stands between glory and defeat in the CUBEmadness 2016 Finals!
To prepare for this tremendous event, CUBEmadness held four Regionals, pairing off interviews from theCUBE, SiliconANGLE, Wikibon and #TechAthlete. Four champions emerged from these battles, each one an interview that helped define the year in tech business. View them here: Tanmay Bakshi, Bill Schmarzo, Colin Mahony and Sanjay Poonen.
The final showdown
Among these four champions, only two could rise to the Finals. Those two are Tanmay Bakshi and Sanjay Poonen.
From the Wikibon Regional is Tanmay Bakshi, a child app developer with Bakshi Software Solutions, Inc. Bakshi describes his interest in programming, how he came to be a young coder, and his recent projects. He has developed a number of apps, including one that helps other developers look up algorithms. In his copious spare time, Bakshi also posts to his YouTube channel, Tanmay Teaches.

From the SiliconANGLE Regional comes Sanjay Poonen, executive VP and GM of end-user computing with VMware, Inc. In this interview, Poonen describes VMware’s philosophy toward working with partners and platforms. He explains how an open view of the possibilities is contributing to a growing mobile ecosystem. He also stresses the importance of open APIs that would allow more people to plug into that ecosystem. It’s a valuable look at the future of mobile computing.
