Amazon has reportedly pulled WikiLeaks from its web services. Although usually hosting providers do not meddle in such issues, WikiLeaks has left or lost its web host, namely Amazon.com.
The WikiLeaks website has undergone a series of hacker attacks since November 28.
Amazon is facing some serious pressure for its web services, which has been marketing heavily lately and lowering prices as low as $0.01 per 1000 requests for PUT, COPY, POST or LIST requests, and per 10,000 requests for GET and all other requests. This wave of changes can be noticed among the other competitors, demonstrating the cloud battles currently taking place amongst the elite industry giants.
