Halcyon and Revelstoke integration enhances security operations team efficiency

Cybersecurity startup Halcyon Tech Inc. today announced a new integration with security orchestration, automation and response company Revelstoke Security Inc. that enables customers to make their security operations teams more efficient.

The integration combines Halcyon’s prevention and resilience mechanisms and Revelstoke’s low-code SOAR capabilities to deliver cyber resilience across organizations and minimize the threat of ransomware. Revelstoke’s low-code automation, combined with the capabilities of Halcyon’s Cyber Resilience Platform, is said to provide businesses with a multilayered defense that insulates organizations from cyberthreats.

One key aspect of the integration is a focus on bolstering security measures against ransomware attacks, which have become one of the most significant cyberthreats businesses face. Halcyon’s Cyber Resilience Platform uses advanced pre-execution artificial intelligence models that are explicitly designed to prevent threats like ransomware attacks, providing businesses with a first line of defense.

Revelstoke’s low-code SOAR solutions bring agility and scalability to preventing and remedying cyber threats. The solution’s ability to streamline and automate security operations allows organizations to respond more quickly to threats and minimize potential damage. The combination offers a more proactive, predictive approach to cybersecurity that can reduce the recovery time from ransomware attacks.

The integration enriches data produced by Halcyon, adding context and providing actionable insights for enhanced threat hunting and incident response by security operations teams. The companies have also prioritized seamless integration, with Halcyon’s extensible integration application programming interface and Revelstoke’s unified data layer and API ensuring smooth data sharing and cooperation between the two platforms.

“Businesses across every sector are struggling to protect themselves from the increased threat of ransomware,” co-founder and Chief Executive Bob Kruse said ahead of the announcement. “By integrating Halcyon’s leading AI-driven cyber resilience capabilities with our next-level enterprise security automation, organizations can optimize security workflows and protect business operations.”

Both Halcyon and Revelstoke are venture capital-backed startups. Halcyon raised $50 million in funding in April and counts among its investors SYN Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital and Corner Ventures. Revelstoke has raised $38 million, according to Crunchbase and its investors include SYN Ventures, Rally Ventures, Crosslink Capital Inc. and ClearSky.
